Event Details:Distances: This event will be a 500 yard open water swim, 15 mile bike and a 3 mile run.
Awards: Awards will be given in 5 year age groups. Overall male and female and Masters male and female will receive special awards. Clydesdale and Athena categories will be presented to the top 3 in each category.
Directions: Freeport is located on HWY 288 south, just past Angleton.

RACE DAY AGE AND USAT RULES: YOU WILL BE RANKED ACCORDING TO THE NEW USAT GUIDELINES. YOU WILL RACE THE AGE YOU WILL BE ON DECEMBER 31, 2010. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE CORRECT WAVE START FOR THAT AGE GROUP.
Sanctioning: This event is
USA Triathlon sanctioned. You must have an Annual Membership or a One Day Membership ($10) to race. You can obtain an Annual Membership at packet pickup or by going online to
www.ustriathlon.org One Day Memberships will be available at packet pickup on Saturday before the race.
